Design at Source had oringally designed the existing twin club scene, in Tamworth, for Deltic Group. They asked the team back to refurbish the club, to follow the successful Vinyl and Atik brands.
Uniquely, the plan has been developed to provide both brands, with their own street entrance. One of these entrances doubles as a link between the two venues, offering greater operational flexibility.
The ground floor houses Vinyl, a party room catering for classic rock and pop music, while the first floor houses the larger, more mainstream Atik club, a venue playing predominantly, House and Chart Toppers.
Vinyl offers a colourful back drop, with an illuminated dance floor. A cacophany of mirror balls, located within the dance floor, lighting rig reflect colour and vibrancy through-out the room.
The team has created some iconic, 80’s design cues across the club’s walls to create that ulitmate party vibe!
Part of the first floor, ceiling has been cut away, to increase the ceiling height over Atik’s dance floor. This has allowed the installation of a dramatic lighting rig. Meanwhile, the DJ booth has been designed to take centre stage, re-enforced by the illuminated, Atik logo.
