Following the design and implementation of Grosvenor Casino, Nottingham and its subsequent success, the team were asked by Grosvenor Casinos to re-develop their existing unit in Sheffield.
Design at Source created a venue that delivers fun and excitement.
By developing a design ethos that brakes down traditional, casino perceptions and by developing a plan that produces a logical layout, the customer is able to explore the casino freely, while feeling completely, at ease.
From the bar, to the casual dining area, through to the entertainment zone and down to the gaming floor, the customer flows through the space.
The studio set about strategically, positioning design elements that create drop-off zones, off the main circulation areas. Colour and graphical elements help to visually define these areas. Familiar, warm textures such as brick and timber help to give each space a more relaxed setting, helping to evoke a more informal atmosphere.
Design at Source expanded and enhanced the external terrace to allow gaming to be played outside, giving the customer even more flexibility. Faux, green, living walls, set against the clean lines of new metal panels, help to give a quality finish that is echoed within the internal environment.
